Engine Options

The Toyota engines can be mated to a range or gearboxes through one of our bell housings or adapters

Toyota 1600 4AGE 20V Silver or Black top |The 4AGE engine has been selected as our base engine it is a good performer developing around 160hp, it adapts itself to RW easily with only minor modifications needed

Toyota 2000 3SGE 16v Fuel injected or carburetted, available as a turbo charged engine |The 3SGE engine It is available as either a naturally aspirated engine but does also come in a turbo charged version has been a very popular engine for Fraser owners. It is 12kg heavier than the 4AGE with a increase in torque and horse power. It is also the easiest engine to convert to carburetion Fraser Cars have also developed a huge amount of aftermarket parts for this engine, such as Dry sump systems, inlet manifolds and various other components

Nissan SR20 Already in RWD configuration, available as a Turbo charged engine |The Nissan SR20 is another option the engine is available in RWD so the standard Nissan gearbox can be used, it is also available in a turbo charged form

Mazda MX5 Already in RWD configuration |The Mazda MX5 is an engine that is available in either 1600cc or 1800cc. It also comes in RWD so that the standard Mazda gearbox can be used

Ford or  Mazda 2500cc V6 |The V6 is an engine that develops a huge amount of torque, but is very smooth throughout the rev range. It is an engine that can develop good horse power for the track but is also a very nice touring engine with a very unique sound  

Toyota 2ZZ |This is the newest engine to the Fraser Cars range a late model 1800cc all aluminium engine. It is very light, develops good horse power and suits a Fraser Clubman very well
